I Don't Give A Damn About Her Damn Reputation...

If I were a betting girl, I'd be in the hole!  Tennessee loses to Baylor?  What the what?  Look, I like Baylor.  I've been a fan for years, but Tennessee?  Pat Summitt?  The Queen of basketball?  I mean, she IS basketball!  I must confess, there were almost tears shed over this game!

So now I'm watching Gonzaga get it handed to them by Xavier.  Expected, but still disappointing.

Here's where my mindset is...Griner.  Enough said?  Incase it isn't, if Britney Griner is "on", Baylor can beat U. Conn.  I know most of you are saying "you're as crazy as a one-armed paper hanger!"  Griner is a machine!  Literally.  At dang near 7 feet tall, this freshman can block pretty much anything she see's coming.  Oh sure, she's the biggest ego since Candace Parker.  Oh sure, she has questionable hair.  Oh sure, she was suspended by the NCAA for punching a player and breaking her nose.  But I don't give a damn about her bad reputation...Let's go Baylor!  Come on!

America's Next Top Model Called...

So I'm perusing the WNBA website...minding my own business...I'm happy...I'm laughing...I'm singing...then I see it!  My eyelids close.  Lips purse.  Nostrils flare.  Breathe...Breathe...Breathe.  There must be some sort of mistake.  This can't be right.  The Storm 2010 Roster still has no bench.  Let me say that once again...the Storm 2010 Roster STILL HAS NO BENCH.

I have ranted and carried-on about this for 3 painful years!  I do not care how stud-filled your starting 5 are if you have no bench (Jackson, Bird, Griffith, Cash, Swoopes).  I do not care if you have the baddest-ass female player of all time (Ms. Jackson if you're nasty) if you have no bench.  Hey Agler, you can't go the distance IF YOU HAVE NO BENCH!

Dear Agler:

Suzy (going forward we'll refer to her as Hyphen) is a nice gal and all, and God-bless-her-heart, but 1 basket + 1 turnover = 0 gains.  Then there's Katie...Agler, I am begging you to make her switch to light beer!  And Last, but sertainly not least, Ashley "ARob" Robinson.  Agler, help me with this one!  I honestly don't get it.  She scored a whopping 6 season points last year.  That's 3 baskets.  America's Next Top Model called...they want their contestant back!

Look, I know that the draft is still ahead of us and we very well may see some changes, but what's it gonna take for Agler to wake the heck up?  Seattle doesn't just want a WNBA team...we want a Championship!

March Madness Indeed...

Welcome back ballers!  Can you feel it?  Can you feel it?  I don't know about you, but I am ready!  It has been a LONG off-season...

Went to a few of the 1st round NCAA games and saw Texas A&M and Gonzaga play.  Gary Blair...I love you man!  You're one of the best around!  I know all of you Zags fans are all about Vandersloot, but I have one question for you...have you met Vivian Frieson?  I mean please...the girl played for Garfield...need I say more?  Vandersloot is good...one of the best guards in the country blah, blah, blah, but Frieson is a stud!  Shooter, blocker, stealer...ok I'm done.

I'll be heading to San Antonio for the Final Four next week and I can't wait!  Predictions?  Who's it gonna be?
